A LITTLE ABOUT VIENNA KAFFEEHAUS
Vienna, the capital of Austria is known as the center of culinary for more than a thousand years. A lot of recipes which are known worldwide, accepted and loved originate from the city which brought us the Waltz and many other historic facts. An Austrian visionary opened the first Vienna Kaffeehaus in Cebu and enjoyed a strong following throughout the years. Founded on December 19, 1983 in Cebu City, Vienna Kaffeehaus was the first to offer Viennese and Austrian dishes to go with our own brand of coffee. The man to thank for all this is an Austrian printing engineer, Kurt Schnabel, who was already doing business in the country, but noticed that coffee houses were nowhere in sight. After opening a few stores, these typical coffee spots had coffee in all its glory, plus Austrian specialties like Backhendl, Kranier, Gulasch for full bodied-meals, and the scrumptious pastries that go with it.
Vienna Kaffeehaus has been known for it's unique European ambiance and delectable dishes developed and made from the finest choice ingredients. Cebu got its first genuine taste of Austrian coffee, in all its 11 brewed varieties: Malange, Espresso, Mocca, Cappucino, Decaf, Irish Coffee, Filter, Milk and Flavored Coffee, Original Vienna Eiscoffee and Café’ccino. A change in ownership of Vienna Kaffeehaus in 2008 brings a refreshing rebirth of the brand and upgrades the exceptional service and authenic menus to newer heights. To satisfy our customers many needs, the management has a current Reading Corner where coffee-lovers could catch up on world news while they relax and enjoy the many delights Vienna has to offer.
